I have spoken with Ali Hirji, he is the Project Manager at the AI Hub on Durham College. His work at the AI Hub is connecting Industry clients that have AI needs with Faculty and students to conduct applied research on AI and help companies to draw tangible benefits from it.
Ali is very charismatic and warming. It was a delight to have this conversation with him about his career and the opportunities around AI.
He shared the story of when he came to Canada and why he had to sleep in the lecture hall of the University he was going to attend back then.
